Alegría!

Alegría, by the Cirque du Soleil

Last March I went to see the famous show by the Cirque du Soleil, Alegría, in Barcelona. It is commonly believed to be the first show made by the Canadian circus but, actually, it is not true. However, what is true is that it is one of the best shows you can ever see performed by a troupe of artists.

Depending on the session you go you can see certain acts or other ones. I wonder why, but sometimes (it happened to me) they omit some acts but put some other ones in their place. All in all, no matter if you see the Aerial Cube or Juggling, you will not be disappointed at all. On the contrary, after the whole performance you will feel like going to see them again the next time they come to your city. Also, the way artists come into scene is also magnificent, maybe what impresses you more is that, the softness in how each act is presented.

The big and only flaw that I can find is what stops people from going to watch what this circus: the high prices of the tickets. They are hardly affordable for most of us.

On balance, I should say that, even if it is only once in your life, go and watch one of their shows whenever they come to your nearest city. It is an extraordinary breathtaking experience (specially the shows of Alegría and Quidam, according to my opinion) that, somehow, will make you start believing that magic may really exist.

Germany & me

Hi there!
Today's post goes to a recently discovered country. Recently discovered... I'm talking nonesense. It has not been recently discovered by humanity but for me. When I was younger (and this means from some years ago until my birth) I used to half-hate German people. Not for any personal reason, don't think I'm xenophobic (only a bit... ¬¬), but because they spoke a language I could not understand no matter how near them I was. Then, a bit more than two years ago I decided to learn that 'bloody' language. I gave up, though. However, a year after I took it up again and here began my discovery of the most economically-powerful country in Europe. Then, one day our teacher brought some pictures of Berlin. I thought: 'I have to see this place.' I went some months afterwards. Obviously (or not so much), I loved it.
Next September I'll face a period of nine months of living in a German city. Saarbrücken is its name. I had never heard of it, but I'm sure it's going to be wonderful. The city and my time there.
Moreover (I hate those essay-like connectors... ¬¬), this summer me and a couple of friends are going to spend 2 weeks in Berlin. Yes, again there. As I say, if you like a place, why not go there again if you can? Who knows when I'll have another chance to go there?

Reccomendations:
Go and see Cirque du Soleil now they're here in Barcelona... believe me, it's worth the money.
Do not believe the sentence "relax, take it easy". Not it's turn to stress because Easter holidays are over!
Try orange Pim's, they taste so good...
Go to the swimming pool, it'll be good for you back!
Work, it's worth the experience and the (little)money you may get!

It's over for today.

Lots of kisses!!!

University Life

It's the best. I can only say this. I do NOT miss at all my old life. Well, you know, sometimes being together in class with my friends. But all in all, I am too fine right now to miss anything from my previous academic life.
And what do I do know that did not do before? Just being myself. It's not that before I behaved in a different way. The point is that in university you are no one at the beginning and you keep being no one during the rest of your stay there. I love this feeling.
My subjects are by no means the best I could have... Catalan, Spanish, English, Russian, Translation, Linguistics and Informatics. You see? The best one is Russian, however, as the method of teaching goes against my principles of How To Learn A Language, I have depelopped some kind of allergy against this subject, too.
Oh, I'm having driving lessons. Practical ones, already. It's really funny. Honestly, I like it. I find it really funny. It's like a joke, but without being one. In fact it's a very serious thing, to drive...
Anyway, I shut up. I have nothing useful to say today. I just wanted to express my feelings.

Lots of kisses!^^
